1. Comment on other blogs: Create a list of target clients and other law firms you wish to receive referrals from.   Visit their websites. If they have a blogging function, make a contribution. This gets your name, the firm’s name and your website to target clients, other attorneys and anyone who visits their site.

2. Create a blog on your site: This offers you’re the opportunity to have a conversation with those who visit your site. It also gives you the chance to post information, which will help your site rise to the top of search engines such as Google.

3. Create an e-newsletter: Create an e-newsletter and distribute to former client, present clients and those who have shown interest in the firm, even if they have never conducted business with the firm.
